Trio of protection for longer lasting toners and colour
Redken Acidic Colour Gloss Shampoo, Conditioner and Glass Gloss Treatment all combine acidic pH, Amino Acids and vitamin E for beautiful hair with a glossy shine. Amino acids and Vitamin E help to strengthen and condition while acidic pH closes your hairs cuticle which gives the best shine and helps extend the life of your colour.
Your hair should be kept at a pH level of 4.5 – 5.5. When hair gets to a pH of 7.5 the cuticle starts to lift and you will then get colour fade & undertones are exposed. A pH of 8.5 means there is a change in your hair and scalp’s eco-system which can cause dandruff and slow hair growth. At pH level 10.5 the structure is affected and you will see frizz and breakage.
How much to use:
Shampoo:
Apply a 20p size amount and you will have up to 80 washes in each bottle! Apply to your root area, massage in, you do not need extra shampoo for your mid lengths and ends, once you rinse in the shower the water running through your hair will spread the shampoo and cleanse all your hair when rinsing.
We recommend washing your hair every second or third day (not daily) to ensure you maintain your hairs natural oils and not drying out your hair and scalp. Conditioner:
Normally a 20p size amount should be enough for the mid lengths and ends.

How to use:
Shampoo:
- Apply a 20p size amount, rub in your hands and then apply to wet hair in your root area
- Lather and then rinse well
- Repeat if necessary
- Rinse
- Follow with Redken Acidic Colour Gloss Glass Treatment or Conditioner
If using Treatment:
- Use weekly starting one week after your colour service
- We recommend you wear gloves when applying
- Apply to mid-lengths and ends on to clean damp hair
- Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes (do not rinse)
- Then apply Acidic Colour Gloss conditioner on top
- Rinse
- For extra protection use Acidic Colour Gloss Heat Protectant Spray
Conditioner (if not using treatment):
- Once in your palm, rub together and then apply to mid-lengths and ends (not the root area)
- Then ideally comb through, detangling your hair, teasing any knots out from the ends first & working your way up to the root
- We recommend a tangle teezer, for in the shower combing
- Leave for at least 2 minutes for optimum moisture
- Then rinse thoroughly
