Acidic Shampoo and Conditioner for Curly and Coily hair
Redken Acidic Bonding Curls Shampoo and Conditioner are Redken‘s new range for gently cleaning and repairing curly and coily hair. It is part of Redkens new Acidic Bonding Curl range which combines amino acids for hair repair, natural oils for hydration and Citric acid to maintain the correct pH for your hair. The Acidic Bonding Curls range is designed to keep curls healthier and more defined rather than to tame curls or control frizz.
combined with Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Avocado Oil to keep your hair soft and hydrated.
Key ingredients:
- Citric acid for a slightly acidic pH to match your hair
- Panthenol (also known as provitamin B5) for hydration
- Coconut oils for cleansing and hydration
- Avocado oil & Shea butter with vitamins A, E and essential fatty acids moisturises both the hair and scalp
- Glycine is an essential amino acid that is used to form the protein chains in keratin
How much to use:
Apply a 10 to 20p size amount and you will have up to 80 washes in each bottle! Apply to your root area, massage in, you do not need extra shampoo for your mid lengths and ends, once you rinse in the shower the water running through your hair will spread the shampoo and cleanse all your hair when rinsing.
We recommend washing your hair every second or third day (not daily) to ensure you maintain your hairs natural oils and not drying out your hair and scalp. How to use:
Shampoo:
- Apply a 20p size amount, rub in your hands and then apply to wet hair in your root area
- Massage into your scalp and then rinse well
- Follow with Acidic Bonding Curls Conditioner
Conditioner:
- Once in your palm, rub together and then apply to mid-lengths and ends (not the root area)
- Then ideally comb through, detangling your hair, teasing any knots out from the ends first & working your way up to the root
- We recommend a tangle teezer, for in the shower combing
- Leave for at least 2 minutes for optimum moisture
- Then rinse thoroughly
