Shampoo with Organic Olives for Frizzy Hair

This SLS free shampoo contains Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate (which does sound a bit like a sulphate) which is a very gentle cleanser that does not strip the hair of essential oils or moisture. Unlike SLS this much larger molecule does not penetrate that scalp or hair and so is very unlikely to irritate your scalp.
The ancient Minuta Olive provides the key active ingredients and is also cultivated and harvested in a sympathetic and sustainable way. Its a rare species of Olive that has a high concentration of polyphenols which are excellent anti-oxidants. Close to becoming extinct because of the demand for higher yielding varieties the Minuta now thrives in the Nebrodi mountains in Sicily due to the Slow Food Presidium. The Olives for Davines are farmed by Mr. Carmelo Messina, founder of the Slow Food Presidium of Ficarra, Messina.
