Redken Amino Mint Shampoo clear gel lathers easily and gives an instant cooling tingle on your scalp. If your roots look flat by the afternoon, while your ends still feel dry this is usually a scalp problem rather than a hair problem. Excess oil, dry shampoo and styling residue can build up at the root, and your scalp can start to feel tight or itchy. This shampoo uses salicylic acid and chelators to dissolve oil and lift the residue that can weigh roots down. Glycine, the amino acid at the centre of the Amino Mint Strength Complex, works to help strengthen strands and keep lengths soft. With regular use, a balanced scalp means less weighed-down hair between washes.

The scent is a crisp, clean peppermint, and the menthol gives a cooling lift that also makes this a favourite for post-gym washes. The slightly acidic pH keeps the hair cuticle smooth and flat, so your hair rinses clean with less tangling.

How much to use:

Apply a 10 to 20p size amount and you will have up to 80 washes in each bottle! Apply to your root area, massage in, you do not need extra shampoo for your mid lengths and ends, once you rinse in the shower the water running through your hair will spread the shampoo and cleanse all your hair when rinsing.

We recommend washing your hair every second or third day (not daily) to ensure you maintain your hairs natural oils and not drying out your hair and scalp.
