Acidic pH and for Colour Protection
Redken Acidic Colour Gloss Gift Set with shampoo, conditioner & Naked Gloss Oil. These products have an acidic pH to keep your hair’s pH low during and after washing. Why should your hair have an acidic pH?
Well your hair should be kept at a pH level of 4.5 – 5.5. When hair gets to a pH of 7.5 the cuticle starts to lift and you will then get colour fade & undertones are exposed. A pH of 8.5 means there is a change in your hair and scalp’s eco-system which can cause dandruff and slow hair growth. At pH level 10.5 the structure is affected and you will see frizz and breakage.

How to use:
Shampoo:
- Apply a 20p size amount, rub in your hands and then apply to wet hair in your root area
- Lather and then rinse well
- Repeat if necessary
- Rinse
- Follow with Redken Acidic Colour Gloss Conditioner
Conditioner:
- Once in your palm, rub together and then apply to mid-lengths and ends (not the root area)
- Then ideally comb through, detangling your hair, teasing any knots out from the ends first & working your way up to the root
- We recommend a Manta Brush for in the shower combing
- Leave for at least 2 minutes for optimum moisture
- Then rinse thoroughly
Naked Gloss Oil:
- Use before heat styling (remember do not use hot tools such as hair straighteners on wet hair)
- Distribute a small amount onto hands
- Apply through damp or dry hair
- Style with heat tools as desired
