Davines MELU Hair Shield contains natural organic ingredients for repairing damaged hair and providing heat protection from styling irons and hair curlers. The longer your hair and the more you heat style it the more likely the ends are to be damaged resulting in hair breakage or split ends. Using a protein based heat protection spray will help prevent the damage from occurring, keeping your hair healthier and allowing it to grow longer. MELU Hair Shield uses sustainably sourced amino acid ingredients to give you the hair repair you need without harming our planet. Lentils are a rich source of the key Amino Acids, Serine and Glutamic Acid which are the most essential in the structure of Keratin (hair protein). These Lentils are sustainably grown on an organic farm where the land is cultivated without pesticides or herbicides. This small family owned farm in beautiful hills and valleys of Villalba, Sicily is farmed by Francesco Di Gèsu as part of the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity which supports projects that protect small scale producers and quality traditional products.

Please note this heat protection spray contains PEG-12 Dimethicone which is a silicone based ingredient that is essential for providing heat protection.
