Authentic Beauty Concept Hand and Hair Light Cream is a hand cream which is perfect for daily use on normal to mildly dry hands. It is also a hair cream, think of it as a leave-in conditioner which can be applied to wet or dry hair. Our preference is to apply to dry, fly away hair: Especially in winter, your hands are slightly dry. Apply to your clean hands and then run your hands though your hair, this will smooth any flyaways, add shine and moisture. Keep it in your handbag for easy access and constant daily hydration, on the go!

A sulphate free moisturising cleanser that restores moisture, elasticity and bounce

Authentic Beauty Concept Hydrate Cleanser 300ml lathers into a rich and caring foam which cleanses the hair without stripping natural oils from the scalp. The sulphate substitution is formed from coconut extract which is an excellent cleanser!

This product can be used just like a shampoo but it does more than just cleanse! Your hair will be moisturised and hydrated as you work the lather through wet hair whilst the cleanser also restores elasticity and bounce in curly hair. Though this product is suitable for all hair types, it works best on normal to dry hair due to the nourishing and moisturising qualities.

As with the entire Hydrate range, the scent is that of fresh laundry; a cottony tone with undertones of a powdery vanilla, so comforting!

As with all Authentic Beauty Concept products, the Hydrate Cleanser is sustainable, colour safe, PETA approved, cruelty free, and vegan. This product is also free from sulphate surfactants, parabens, and silicones.

A natural hand cream

Authentic Beauty Concept Hand & Hair Light Cream is made with carrageenan moss (also known as Irish sea moss and is a species of red algae), bakuchiol (taken from the seeds of the plant), willow bark extract and coconut oil. Bakuchiol stimulates collagen product in a similar way to retinoids but without the side effects such as skin dryness. As hairdressers we know what makes a good hand cream and we certainly think this is an excellent daily hand cream which does everything we are looking for:

  • It is absorbed so easily (pretty much instantly)
  • It doesn’t leave any stickiness or greasiness
  • Its fantastically hydrating

This isn’t an intensive cream so we wouldn’t recommend for very dry or cracked skin.
