Hair Styling Wax, Putty, Paste & Clay
All of these products have a thick consistency designed for use on dry, short hair to rub in and give definition, texture, and hold.
The key differences are; a hair styling wax has a shine, clay is matte (no shine) and a hair styling putty is slightly creamer than a paste, meaning its not quite as strong, so better for finer hair.
It’s definitely a big deal when you find your perfect match with a hair styling paste, it’s a relationship that can last a lifetime! To make a match, all you need to do, is work out how much hold you want, how much shine (if any) and match it with the thickness of your hair.
